  • Data Centre Field Technician

    Overall purpose of the job:

    • 24x7 field engineering duties within Exponential-e Data Centres (DCs) and Points of Presence (PoPs)

    • DC Physical Access & Site Management

  • Marketing Manager

    Overall purpose of the job:

    This role is primarily a field / home based role. Currently Exponential-e specialises in Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix technologies. The employee take on board and efficiently perform any pre-sales, support, consultancy, and documentation relating to these and other technologies.

    The role will also involve client-facing duties where the employee will be responsible for carrying out occasional onsite or remote 3rd line support for Exponential-e’s clients. A proportion of the role will involve working with the Managed Services team in order to help improve process and documentation, handovers from project delivery to business as usual.

    Where possible the employee will be expected to help in identifying weak areas concerning handover and documentation with a view to improving this process. As a leader, the role will involve continual evaluation of how the technical landscape is evolving and forming opinion of the risk and rewards that could affect Exponential-e.

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Onsite and remote consultancy, installation services, troubleshooting, health checks, workshops and advice for Exponential-e’s clients and those of its associate.
    • Onsite or remote support and troubleshooting (ad-hoc) for Exponential-e’s clients and those of its associates.

  • Service Delivery Engineer

    • Implementation of customer WAN, LAN and Network Security solutions, including wide range of CPE devices

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Provisioning new WAN services onto the Exponential-e NGN Network

  • IT Compliance Lead

    Type of role: full time permanent

    Overall purpose of the job:

    The Compliance Lead will be primarily responsible for planning, designing, developing and managing the patch management activities, using various automation toolsets for managed configuration items within the Exponential-e Managed Services team. The role will have the accountability to ensure the delivery of IT compliance processes for Exponential-e Customers.

    You will analyse trends to identify potential patching and compliance errors in all OS and application environments, and will work with respective teams to ensure those errors do not re-occur. This role will help secure Exponential-e’s customer infrastructure from medium to critical security threats.

    • Own the operational delivery of IT compliance processes for Exponential-e customers
    • Effective resource management of Managed Services team in order to ensure adherence to patching standards
    • Help ensure the awareness and integration of risk and compliance management within Exponential-e’s customers
    • Design, deliver and lead the patch management activities for Exponential-e customers
    • Work with Cloud, Managed Services and Cyber Security teams to maintain a framework of systems and procedures relevant to the compliance of all Managed IT services

    Key responsibilities for this job:

    • Ensure that risks introduced to Exponential-e customers through the use of IT are quantified and managed
    • Develop, execute, and maintain processes, procedures to monitor and maintain the governance of work streams and processes, including patch management activities.
    • Provide process guidance and leadership to internal teams in regards to compliance and risk management
    • Facilitate and execute the installation and maintenance of Managed OS and Application patches
    • Provide input to scheduling to ensure that release and deployment is resourced correctly
    • Ensure release processes and procedures are maintained and accurate.
    • Review system software updates and identify those that require action.
    • Tailor release software to minimise human interaction.
